A Classification Tree for Modeling Ground Fractures from Subsidence

چکیده
This article presents a classification tree with predictive and prescriptive capabilities for the management of ground fractures in crowded suburb Tláhuac, municipality Mexico City. The is trained observations parametrized basic geotechnical geological variables specifications urban environment where they manifest. With tree, complexity scenario affected by subsidence phenomenon cleared because relations between parameters can be viewed easily. influence stratigraphic arrangements (geotechnical properties), conditions, size roads inhabited units, location water-pumping infrastructure appearance exacerbation cracks soils recognized, this offers citizens government administrators possibility anticipating damages working on programs improving structures foundations, including relocation communities at risk.

Integrated Radar Interferometry for Ground Subsidence Monitoring
This paper reports the progress of the ongoing ESA CAT-1 project (ID 1078). Radar interferometry (InSAR) has been used together with GIS (Geographic Information System) technique to monitor ground subsidence due to underground mining in a test site around the Appin township, southwest of Sydney, Australia. Various digital elevation models (DEMs) are assessed using elevation profiles from ground...
متن کاملA Mixed Prediction Model of Ground Subsidence for Civil Infrastructures on Soft Ground
The estimation of ground subsidence processes is an important subject for the asset management of civil infrastructures on soft ground, such as airport facilities. In the planning and design stage, there exist many uncertainties in geotechnical conditions, and it is impossible to estimate the ground subsidence process by deterministic methods. In this paper, the sets of sample paths designating...
متن کاملRadar Interferometry for Ground Subsidence Monitoring Using Alos Palsar Data
This paper describes the results using data from ALOS and ENVISAT satellites for the purpose of subsidence monitoring over underground coal mine sites in the state of New South Wales, Australia, using the differential interferometric synthetic aperture radar (DInSAR) technique. The quality of the mine subsidence monitoring results is mainly constrained by the noise due to the spatial and tempor...
متن کاملModeling Children Ever Born and Ideal Number of Children by Classification Tree
Background: Fertility is one of the important subjects in public health and demographic studies which affects population growth. The main objective of this paper was to introduce and apply a tree model to classify the ideal number of children and children ever born in the study of "Marriage and Fertility Attitudes of Married 15-49 Years Old Women in Semnan Province in Iran, 2012". Methods: Cla...
متن کاملA Classification Tree for Speciation
The most efficient speciation methods suffer from a quite high complexity from O(n c(n)) to O(n2), where c(n) is a factor that can be proportional to n, the population size. In this paper, a speciation method based on a classification tree is presented, having a complexity of O(n logn). The population is considered as a set of attribute vectors to train the classification tree. The splitting me...
